Letná - a trendy district known for its hip cafés, artistic vibe, and sprawling Letná Park. With stunning views of the Vltava River and its many bridges, it's a favorite spot for both locals and visitors to relax and soak in the city's charm.
Take a tram to the stop Korunovacní or walk from the metro Hradcanska station.

Nový Svět - near Prague Castle - is a charming hidden alley with a peaceful atmosphere. Its cobbled streets and fairy-tale charm make it a perfect escape from the city's crowds.
The best place to approach it is from the tram stop Brusnice.

Vrtba Garden - Mala Strana district has many gardens, but this romantic Baroque gem is our favorite place to relax in the busy city.
Take a walk from the Malostranske Namesti tram stop.

Kampa Island and modern art - you have probably been to Kampa Island, but the Kampa Museum is also worth visiting!
Take a walk from the tram stop Ujezd.
Vyšehrad - the ancient ruins overlooking the Vltava River are one of Prague's most mysterious and magical spots. Steeped in legends, it offers a quiet atmosphere and breathtaking city view.
Take a short walk from the metro Vyšehrad station to get there.

Stromovka Park - Prague's largest green area is perfect for relaxing walks, picnics, and outdoor activities. Once a royal hunting ground, it now offers peaceful lakes, endless paths, a kid's playground, and a planetarium.
Take a tram to Vystaviste stop.

Jelení příkop - the "Deer Moat" - is a hidden green valley right beneath Prague Castle. Its uniqueness lies in the peaceful nature winding through historic castle walls and the tunnel, once a secret passage, now a fascinating walkway connecting its two parts.
Walk either from Prague Castle or the metro Malostranska station.

Petrin Hill and the Tower - this cute copy of the Eiffel tower from 1891 offers one of the best views of Prague Castle.
Take a walk from Prague Castle or up the hill from tram stop Ujezd.

Jan Zizka statue - one of the largest equestrian statues in Europe. You can find it on Vítkov Hill, and once you admire the statue enough, just turn around and look at the stunning view of Prague that Jan Zizka on his horse has.
Take a tram from Zelivskeho metro station to Biskupcova stop. Then walk through the park in the street Prazacka.

National Museum of Agriculture - We know, it doesn't sound very sexy, but the rooftop view is absolutely worth it. And your kids have free entrance up to the age of 18.
Right next to the (much more sexy and worth visiting) Technical museum, walk from metro Hradcanska through Letna Park.

Brevnov Monastery - the oldest one in the Czech lands, is a stunning Baroque monument with a peaceful garden. It's also home to the historic Břevnov Brewery, where you can taste excellent monastic beer in a unique setting.
Take a tram to the Brevnovsky klaster stop.

Botanical garden - close to the famous Prague Zoo and Troja Castle, there is a hidden green oasis with exotic plants, tranquil vineyards, and breathtaking city views.
Take bus 112 from metro Holesovicka to stop Zoo Praha. (Yes, Prague Zoo is right next to it.)

National Technical Museum - this museum is no hidden gem, we know. But inside there is an unostentatious car worth a billion Czech crowns - the Mercedes-Benz W154. Will you find it among all the other cars, trains, and other technical gems?
Walk from metro Hradcanska through Letna Park or take a tram to Milady Horakove.

HolKa footbridge - an elegant connection between Holesovice and Karlin, making travel between these trendy districts faster and more epic. With modern design and stunning views of the Vltava, it's a great spot for a walk or bike ride along the river.
Take a walk from the Vltavska metro station.

Letohradek Hvezda - a unique star-shaped Renaissance villa, is nestled in a serene forest park. The surrounding garden, with its symmetrical paths and elegant layout, reminds you of a French-style charm, making it a perfect spot for a peaceful walk or a moment of quiet beauty.
Take a tram to Vypich stop.

Zizkov TV tower - love it or hate it, one of the best views in Prague can only be seen from the ugliest building in Prague. That is a fact. Don't worry, there is an elevator and a café as well.

Olsany cemetery - located in a huge park, a quiet place where you can contemplate life and death. And don't forget about the closing time (you can find it at the entrance).
Take a short walk from Flora metro station.

Havlickovy sady aka Gröbovka - a place packed with beautiful walking paths, a café, a villa, a playground, a mysterious Grotta, wine Altan, and vineyards. This place is the perfect spot for a peaceful escape or a leisurely afternoon.
Take a tram to Nadrazi Vrsovice and walk uphill a bit. Or walk across Vinohrady from metro Namesti Miru.

Bohemians football stadium - experience a football match at Dolicek. While Bohemians may not be the largest club in Prague, the story of its dedicated fans saving the club from extinction is truly inspiring. Vrsovice, where the stadium is located, is also worth a visit for its vibrant and authentic atmosphere.

Convent of Saint Agnes of Bohemia - Saint Agnes was canonized on November 12, 1989. Alongside Saint Wenceslaus, she is one of the most famous Czech saints. The reason is clear: her canonization remarkably coincided with the events of the Velvet Revolution.
Take a walk from Dlouha trida tram stop or from Old Town Square/Staromestske Namesti.

Take a metro to Mustek and take a direction to the Vaclavske Namesti when getting off the metro.

CAMP Prague – the Center for Architecture and Metropolitan Planning – is a dynamic cultural hub where urban design meets creativity. Located in one of the iconic Prager's cubes from 1973, it offers a sleek gallery, diverse visitor programs, a cozy café, and a dedicated study space.
Take a metro to Karlovo Namesti stop.

Klanovice Forrest - the largest wooded area in Prague, is a peaceful retreat perfect for hiking, cycling, and nature walks. This lovely area offers a refreshing escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and you can be there in just 20 minutes from the city center.
Take a train S1 from Praha-Masarykovo nadrazi to Praha-Klanovice. Don't forget to buy a ticket!

Public Transport Museum - a unique showcase of the city's rich transit history, featuring a fascinating collection of trams, buses, and trolleybuses. Unlike traditional museums, it lets visitors step inside beautifully restored vehicles. It's a must-visit for transport enthusiasts and history lovers alike.

DOX Prague Gallery - this modern art gallery is comparable to renowned galleries like the Tate Modern in London or MoMA in New York. With its bold exhibitions, thought-provoking installations, and striking Gulliver airship structure, DOX pushes creative boundaries and offers a fresh perspective on contemporary issues.

Czech National Bank Vault - the world's second biggest golden coin (130 kg!) can be seen for free every day (except Monday) at the Czech National Bank. The rest of the exhibition is also worth seeing and if you ask politely, they will let you hold a golden brick :)

Vaclav Havel Bench by the river Vltava - there are many Vaclav Havel Benches in Prague and outside of it as well, but this one is our favorite because it is hidden so well. Take a seat and relax ..
Take a walk from Narodni Divadlo tram stop.

Public sports complex in Prague center - football, basketball, minigolf, fitness area, ice skating, .. this place in walking distance from the Old town square offers various sports use for everyone.
Take a walk (5 min.) from tram stop Dlouha trida.

District Baba - a unique Prague district known for its exceptional collection of functionalist villas from the 1930s. This architectural gem showcases innovative urban planning. Its combination of history, avant-garde style, and stunning views over the city makes it a must-visit for architecture lovers.
Take bus 131 from the metro station Hradcanska to stop at Sidliste Baba.

A walk through the Clementinum Library -Just a stone's throw from the iconic Charles Bridge lies the Baroque gem, the Clementinum.
Once the Jesuit college now the National Library opened to the public. You can either wander through the complex or enter and enjoy the guided tour of one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, the Astronomical Tower, or the Mirror Chapel.

Kids playgrounds in Vinohrady district - there are many cute playgrounds around Prague but these two are best according to our children - one in Riegerovy sady (with a fantastic view of Prague Castle if you walk a bit more) and another, right next to the Water tower.
Take a metro to Jiriho z Podebrad station and walk just a few minutes from there.

Former Saint Anne Church - now cultural center Prague Crossroads - founded by Václav Havel and Dagmar Havlová. This place is not open very often but on some days you can visit the inside of this former church with a fascinating history.
