Why do we use Mapy.com instead of Google Maps? And why you should do that as well?

We chose Mapy.com because it offers much more detailed and accurate maps than Google Maps, especially for walking in the city. Walk from Flora to the Vltava in two hours

Alright, this might be a challenge, but we guarantee it's worth it. This lovely offbeat path (downhill all the way!) is our favorite activity for sunny Sundays all year round. On your way, you can recharge in one of many bistros, cafés, or restaurants. The best ones are integrated into the map itself.

Admire the impressive villas in Hradesinska Street, the modern church of Jan Hus, or the lovely street Luzicka. End your walk in Emmaus Monastery from 1347 with two unusual spires.

Walk around Prague Castle without all the hassle

You have probably been to Prague Castle, but now you can walk around it and still admire the view of this biggest castle complex in Europe.

Start at the tram station Brusnice then continue through pitoresque Novy Svet to the Petrin tower. There are three cafés on the way that are worth it (and you can find them on our map). From Petrin walk downhill through Trziste, visit the cute Vrtba garden, and finish your walk at Malostranska tram station

Walk from Hradcanska to Bubenec Train (coffee) Station

Bubenec district seems like an alternative to Vinohrady. Full of modern cafés, original restaurants, and old-fashioned pubs, it offers a mix of trendy and traditional, all set against the backdrop of elegant historic buildings and the wonderful park Stromovka. With its relaxed vibe and less touristy feel, Bubeneč is a great spot to enjoy Prague like a local.

Take a walk inspired by our map. Admire villas with embassies, have a peek at Na Slamniku - a legendary Prague pub, enter the Stromovka park, take a little break in former Train Station Bubenec (now a cozy cafe), and finish your stroll there or continue to old Wastewater treatment plant (psst, it has a café inside as well).

Eat and drink around the square Jiriho z Podebrad (JZP)

Jiřího z Poděbrad is not the biggest square in Prague, but it's the coolest. This is our favorite place to eat outside without prior planning. Asian, Czech, Mexican, Spanish kitchens and Bakeries, Cafés, Pubs, Bars, .. everyone can find their desired destination in this small area of JZP (as local expats call it).

The impressive church from 1928 by Josef Plecnik can be visited, but the square itself is currently under reconstruction.
